I don't know about you, but I'm completely broke. It's terrifying. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to look cute on a daily basis. Also, I work in a building that is very much like the publishing company in Ugly Betty, so I'm surrounded by waifs in YSL belts,  Zac Posen dresses, and Chloe boots. Those brands are so far out of my reach that they might as well come to life and bite me if I so much as pet them even when they're on deep discount at Filene's. But I refuse to let that stop me from flaunting my adorableness with cute and stylish clothes. This is where Target comes in.  This may not be news to you, but seriously, if you curvy girls out there haven't hit up Target.com recently, then you're doing yourself a grave disservice. I found an adorable red Isaac Mizhari dress there on clearance for $9!  I've worn it everywhere from my sister's graduation to a friend's wedding, and I get tons of compliments on it. Explore the Mizhari line (sizes  go up to XXL). And Target has a full line of plus-size clothes with some really wonderful surprises.

  • And this burgundy skirt would be perfect with heeled oxfords and it's only $22!

  • I'm not normally a fan of Target pants, but these jeans look like they'd be a solid staple.
You get where I'm going with this? There are options for the monetarily challenged among us; you just have to know where to look. --Raegan Johnson
