In a bit of surreal news, our girl (and my fashion twin) Nikki Blonsky and her father were arrested and charged with assault in an altercation with ANTM's resident bitca Bianca Golden. Apparently they allegedly came to blows over desired seats in an airport departure lounge. The interesting bit is that while Nikki and Bianca both received identical charges, Nikki is the one getting the bad press from People. Although, as they say in the biz, any publicity is good publicity, which means that Nikki may have won this round.

The cool thing, as Francesca so aptly pointed out, is that so far I've also not seen any outlets refer to Blonsky as a plus-size anything, simply noting that she appeared in Hairspray. It's refreshing, especially since the opposing force was a size 2 pre-model and it seems difficult for most copywriters to refrain from making a reference to the size difference.

Also, for what it's worth, judging from the video that showed up at Defamer, it sounds like Bianca was the first to deliver a blow to Nikki.
