Yeaaa Hitha! It's so important to support your local businesses, and growers of produce, and keep your local economy from dissipating. It's good for everyone. I remember when we were told not to eat scallions, but I did. I don't eat tons of jalapeno peppers, but a half, or quarter of one in my guacamole or black bean dip. I'm growing my own tomatoes over the summer, but my neighbor keeps spraying weed killer, and I think that's a bunch scarier than salmonella. A good wash is what I can only hope will do the trick. Thank you for sharing this bright and charming side.
