Ever since I watched the first Food Party video, I've been crushing hard on Thu Tran. Of course, I'm instantly enamored of any video that includes puppetry (hence my utter love of LiLo's breasts on The Daily Special), but Thu is so creative and charming about her utter love of all things culinary that I re-watch the three Food Party videos whenever I'm having a really bad day. I know that she's about to be the bloggy darling of the moment, but I defy you to escape one of her videos without a girl crush of your own. Check out her bio: "When it comes to eating, Thu truly practices OMNIVERISM. She has eaten or prepared at least 1,000 species of the animal kingdom and at least 500 of the plant kingdom. One time, her dad stole pigeon eggs from a bird's nest outside their kitchen window and prepared it for breakfast and told her and her brothers that he used witchery to shrink the eggs. Eggs are now her favorite food, not because of that."

The devil! Donut orchards! Yolko Ono! Heee! I'm giddy! If there were more hipster cooking shows, the world just might be a better place.
