photo via Chefectomy Why yes, Mr. Winitz, author of Chefectomy, I am so hot. And I could definitely use a cool, refreshing drink that is so fresh and cold it feels like I am being hosed down by snow angels wearing tiny ice bikinis. A glass of sangria? A glass of sangria made from a crisp, sassy white Spanish wine? With, wait, I'm sorry, did you say you added very ripe white peaches and fresh-plucked Rainier cherries? Did I hear something about topping it off with icy cold sparkling soda? Oh, my, yes. All the way up to the top, please. Really, you can make sangria with any kind of very fresh, ripe fruit, like strawberries? Why, it's practically healthy! No, it is. Don't ruin my illusions. Another glass? Oh, yes please. And, if you don't mind, may I kiss you with tongue? Oh! Oh, I'm sorry. Well, she's a very lucky woman. Any more of that sangria? 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

It is 8:45 AM and I am now going to make Sangria for breakfast. I thank you. My family thanks you. Society as a whole thanks you for reposting the brilliance of ranier cherries in a cocktail.
