I don't know why I was shocked to learn that everyone on The View was fully aware that Star Jones had weight-loss surgery. I addressed my discontent with the revelation that Star Jones had been totally bypassing on the down low and trying to front like it was all Pilates and portion control, and Babwa gets that:
"They didn't relate to her anymore. You can change if you're honest about your change," Barbara says. "[The viewers] turned on [Star] because they knew she wasn't telling the truth. If she'd said, 'I had a gastric bypass operation. ... Let me tell you what's good about it. Let me tell you what's bad about it. I'm losing weight; I'm also doing Pilates and watching my diet,' it would have been different. They would have loved her for it."
Star Jones isn't going to take the conjecture with class and dignity. She nails Babs with a triple punch, essentially calling her an old, washed-up, slutty bee-yatch in the recent Us:
"It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book. It speaks to her true character."
Ouch. Looks like someone is a little uncomfortable with the truth. In a fight of wits, my money's on Barbara, but if it comes to actual physical confrontations, I think I'm betting on Star Jones. I suspect she's not above hair-pulling.

Barbara Walters will rip her throat out and drink Star's blood.

Watch your back, skinny bitch.

I agree: Babs could kick Star's ass. And, just how did Star THINK her fans would react when they found out they'd been lied to? Stupid woman.

As a person who went through WLS, it totally pissed me off that Star Jones tried to front and say portion control and pilates was the reason she was losing 12 pounds a week. Her body might have gotten smaller , but her ego continued to grow uncontrollably (and still is, apparently). Barbara doesn't even need to respond - she's still a great big journalism icon, and Star's hosting "The Bad Girls" reunion show on Oxygen. Enough said.
