SHOPPING 05.02.2008 BY WEETABIX

Shout out to the big soled sistas in the hizzy! I never imagined that there were so many of us, scouring the racks of depressing boring footwear, envying the heck out of our friends with the size 6 tootsies. And of course, after I listed several designers from whom I've never seen a size 12 offering, I immediately found that I was wrong, oh so wrong, and many of them do make up to size 12 but, like a four-leaf clover, you just have a little tougher time finding them. So let's go shoe shopping, shall we? Here are ten adorable shoes just in time for wedding season that are available up to size 12 (and oh, size 7's? Some of these come in your size too.)

Leave it to my purse girlfriend Kate Spade to finally listen to my silent weeping: I spotted this cute peep toe flat at Nordie's, which is proof that Ms. Spade's shoe line really does hit double digits.

Jimmy Choo? Yes we do! In both flats and also gorgeous stilettos, both on sale.

I've never heard of Samanta and I would have to actually buy clothing to match these, but that toe makes it all worthwhile.

I had written off Nine West completely but I'm forever grateful to M for setting me straight because these are totally ready for the runway.

S-Dub has always been my go-to man for shoes, and while he sometimes pulls out some clunkers, I honestly teared up a little when I spotted these in person. It's like looking at art.

If loving stripper/transvestite shoes is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Dear Esteban, I may forsake our future first born to be able to own and walk convincingly in these Manolo Blahniks.

These amazing Christian Louboutin silver cork sandals make my inner Paris Hilton scream, "WANT! NOW!"

Sometimes you want to be a little less couture and a little more funky with something like these Fluevog Hepburn pumps.

Hey! Those crystal-studded Stuart W. shoes are almost the same as my wedding shoes from his 2002 collection! My dress was smokin' but all I heard all night was, "I LOVE your shoes!"

I'm an 8.5 wide or a 9 if I can't find wide. Width+length is my challenge...so many of the prettiest shoes make me look and feel like an oaf.
