only one month dedicated to O?

mandarin oranges (on sale for 50 cents a small can often - buy a case) come in handy for quick nonperishable snacks/handy to have on hand - can be added to other things, too.

pasta
tuna
tortillas
cheese
parsley flakes
minced dried onion
potatoes
eggs
frozen cooked shrimp
frozen veggies
canned veggies
soups
ramen
peanut butter and (raspberry) preserves
tomatoes
lettuce
bacon
bread
yogurt
frozen and fresh berries
raisins
pasta/spaghetti sauce
breakfast bars (Special K peaach/berry)
rice!
cereals - hot (oatmeal, cocoa wheats!), cold
frozen whitefish filets like tilapia, etc.
celery, carrots, radishes, grape tomatoes
ground turkey or burger
juices
hummus
low fat low salt crackers/pretzels
cottage cheese
chopped peacans
dried apricots/prunes

some quick fixes:
scrambled eggs or french toast
veggie cheese omelet
blt's
tuna pasta salad or tuna salad sandwich or
creamed tuna on toast
lettuce with cottage cheese, peaches, berries, nuts, spices
macaroni and cheese with veggies added
rice and shrimp with veggies/mandarin oranges
oatmeal with raisins & spice
grilled cheese sandwiches dunked in tomato soup
hamburger tomato rice hotdish

to name a few...i do the drive thru with no fries or pop - usually a dollar burger with lots of veggies on it or a bean burrito or taco with lots of veggies on it (& sour cream, mmm) have you ever tried an apple grande at taco johns with some sour cream and lettuce on it? an apple tostada for sure. it isn't the lowest cal, but a fruit/veggie/dairy/bread treat. fabulous.
