photo via my bar, your bar Oh, that's what I'm talking about. Friday. In the long list of things of which I approve, Friday is up at the top, and in very good company. One of the things I like best about Friday is that when the end of the work week has rolled around, it feels like a celebration. You've got hours and hours of freedom between having to work for a living and having to take care of the one million daily chores you put off taking care of until the weekend, when you have time to actually accomplish something. One of the nicest ways to celebrate is with a toast, and one of the best ways to toast is with a vodka martini. Even sexier? A ginger vodka martini. The sexiest? Preserve your fresh ginger in vodka this weekend, while you're at the rest of your chores, and you're multitasking like a rock star: not only have you got a way to keep your ginger from spoiling, you've got a whole tub of infused vodka with which to fuel your increasingly bawdy toasts.
