wooden castle brooch.jpg
There is something terribly old-fashioned and refined about a brooch--even just the word feels rich and old-timey. It reminds me of elegant ladies in pillbox hats and little white gloves, a strand of pearls and delicate crossed ankles in spectator pumps, a viciously sparkling wit and a bright, white smile. So that's already a win, for me.

And add that to how there's something incredibly old-fashioned and refined about this gorgeous wooden brooch from Princess Tina--so delicate and fine-looking, romantic and whimsical and absolutely charming. I want to pin it to the neck of a delightful little capelet, paint on my reddest mouth, and go take an extra-dry martini and the Algonquin Round Table by captivating storm.
