I know that normally Anne is throwing the fashion your way, but I couldn't resist sharing the sneak peek at my favorite plus-size line's new spring offerings. Igigi loves your curves, all of them, and has really been making waves in the plus-size fashion world (which bites for me because I've been patronizing designer Yuliya Zeltser since 2002 but now, not only do I have to deal with the possibility of someone wearing the same dress I am at parties but of course higher demand means that their prices went up and they sometimes sell out of great designs quickly).

Anyway, as soon as this dress hits the markets, it's mine! I'm calling it right now! Hands off. Okay, well, maybe you can buy it if you solemnly promise not to run into me at any social gatherings or garden cotillions.

Dibs on the pink/white/black dress and the teal & orange maxi dress!

I dibs the neopolitan number. Except, I can't.

One more reason why I am so frustrated by the fashion industry - plus size just as much as regular. I am a very tall, small breasted, plus size gal. As much as I LOVE all the dresses, I can tell they will look freakish falling in folds all over my non-existent boobs. Sigh.

I am totally coveting the green version of that same dress you have claimed. Really, I was coveting all of it last night when I saw the sneak peek email and I am sad because I don't know if any of it will fit me anymore by the time they come out. So you'll have to wear the green one for me, okay?

It's always encouraging to see plus-size fashion that actually looks good! I like the idea of it being okay to be curvy :)

The best thing about this preview was that I didn't feel like I was looking at a "plus size" preview -- just at really great dresses that I'm going to have to save up for, and like I wished I had the kind of life that would necessitate wearing all of them. Kinda like how I feel looking at the Anthropologie catalogues! I'm calling dibs on the green-and-white number, and that blue/orange print dress, too. And don't think I wouldn't try to wear that blue/orange one to work.
