I'll admit I felt dubious about vegan corn chowder, but this looks and sounds super delicious. Also, just leaving out the tofu but pureeing the soup and potatoes would make it seem pretty creamy too, though not as protein-packed. Thanks, Kim!
I'm allergic to corn, so I will pass on this recipe. I would, however, be interested in a good guacamole recipe, which can be both vegan as well as corn free. It's nice seeing Kim in the kitchen again, and the breasts on a stick are always a pick-me-up.

You should probably mention to your possibly-not-so-cooking-savvy DS viewers that when you put hot liquid in a blender, you should either blend with the lid completely off or partly cracked (or if your blender has a feeder hole, with that open) and a towel over the top (for safety against spillage, but to absorb the steam). Putting hot soup in a sealed blender can very easily literally cause the blender to explode! (Particularly if it's made of glass.) I just don't want any lovely vegan EW fans getting rushed to the hospital with third-degree burns (as happened to a friend of mine once) when trying to make corn chowder. :-) (Oh and btw thanks again for The Girl's Guide to Absolutely Everything; now I have a girl crush on Melissa too!)
