Hispanic Heritage Month has made us hungry. What are other people eating? Deb, we'll take the arroz con pollo leftovers off of your hands. You don't even have to thank us for doing it. These red pepper enchiladas look so heavenly and delightful that no one will believe they aren't cooked—but rather are raw-food based! Black beans are so hearty and perfectly married to the spicy core of cumin that we think this soup is going to make you very happy on an upcoming chilly fall night. But if you want something meatier, try some chile verde spooned into fresh flour tortillas, or just spooned right into your mouth. The Mayans drank a potent chocolate mixture to give themselves strength before battle, so here's a decadent drinking chocolate for your pleasure. If you're not so much into battle, try some dessert tapas instead. |
