I don't know if it's my Midwestern roots or the sheer adrenaline-pumping carnal nature of the sport, but I loves me some football. There is nothing better than a sunny autumn Saturday afternoon with a college ballgame on in the background, and the big boys? Well, suffice to say, I'd argue the merits of Peyton Manning over Drew Bledsoe any day of the week, and just might have gotten into a screaming match in a sports bar about whether or not taking a knee in the final minute of the game meant the team was being a bunch of cowardly wieners.

So with opening week of the 2007 season, I had to shake up our playlist with those stadium anthems that get every crowd pumped up and ready for some gridiron. This is the perfect mix to inspire you to zigzag a 100 yards and then do your own version of a touchdown dance. Game on, people, game on. --Weetabix

I just wanted to say that I really, really, love your mix lists and have added them to use when I jump rope. Thanks!

Another football lover here! I'm headed to another Michigan State game tomorrow and it might actually be something resembling football weather! I LOVE fall. (Although the last 2 weeks have really been beautiful too, all things considered. Just too hot for my cranky cold-weather-loving self).

I think "Remember the Name" is another good football playlist selection.

Is there anyway, you can tell us the actual name of the playlist.. i always read elastic waste at work, and don't have access to iTunes, so when i get home and try to find it.... it takes ages!

The actual name of the mix is on the top of the iTunes bar thingy. In this case it's titled "Elastic Waist - Touchdown Mix"
