
Alright, Cynthia, here's a toughie: What would you consider the Ten Commandments of happy, healthful living?
1. Eat real food.
2. Wake up every morning and give thanks for the working, beautiful body that you have.
3. Remember that dessert is a "treat," not an entitlement.
4. Alcohol will cause more problems than you realize.
5. Don't read more than one "this is how you do something" book in a two-month period.
6. Put more energy into your friendships than your "to do" list.
7. Get in nature regularly and stick your feet in the dirt when you are there.
8. Pay attention to doing some deep breathing every day. Remember that you can reset your body's energy in ten seconds with a few deep breaths.
9. Never ignore your body's signals--it is always talking to you.
10. Don't ever diet again!
