The next day, wake up and have a glass of warm water with lemon. That'll help detox mucus from your body. Throughout the day, stick to veggies, fruits, tea, lots of water, whole grains and light protein. Nothing processed, nothing heavy, no sauces, no cream, no dairy. I have to say, though, yo-yoing is bad. Nighttime binges more than once a month can really throw your system out of whack and hurt your ability to lose weight. If this is happening more than once a week, though, you probably need to look at what else is going on in your life. Let's say you're going to the grocery store, the health food store, and a fancy gourmet market. What are your three favorite things at each? At the grocery store: brown rice; prepackaged chopped veggies, frozen or fresh; and dark chocolate. Then at the health food store I'd pick up agave nectar, almond milk, and guacamole. And then at the gourmet market I'd get some goat's milk ice cream, caviar, marinated salmon or bean salad. Of course, not all eaten in the same meal, because that would be really gross. Life isn't worth living unless you can treat yourself to ___________ once in a while. Chocolate chip cookies. |
