We will admit, we're a bit stymied by the current rash of videos on YouTube featuring someone singing their heart out into a camera. It's like karaoke gone very very wrong. (Ok, we like the Numa Numa kid, but he was lip-synching. Mostly, we just like how he loses his shit in the middle of the song and does a little chair dance that everyone has done at least once in their life.) We suspect it might be some kind of courting ritual broadcast to the world at large. But really, we can't judge, because if YouTube and the Internet were around when we were 16 and full of angst, we probably would have filmed ourselves singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" or maybe "I Want to Dance With Somebody" and uploaded it for the world to see.

This kid is so cute and earnest that we just had to share this, even though it's that horribly overplayed James Blunt song.  Good thing this video doesn't have calories, because it's so cheesy and adorably sweet that you'd go into a diabetic coma, but we just can't help it, okay? We're suckers for sap. Please forgive us.
