Except, wow they were really expensive! And then looking at their nutritional information, the chocolate peanut crunch bars I bought had 10 g of protein for 190 calories. Not bad, but Zone Perfect Peanut Butter Crunch bars have 14 grams of protein for 210 calories, and a box of six costs almost half what a pack of Special K protein bars does. The taste...okay, marginally better than the Zone Perfect bars, but given that they skimped on 4 grams of protein, they could fill up with a little more flavor. The verdict? Meh. They weren't a waste of money, in that I ate all of them, but I guess if you really loved the taste or as a healthier alternative for a Butterfinger, they would be worth it, but as a daily plan? Not so much. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

Try Luna bars too! Trader Joe has them and they are quite yummy :)
