We have a bit of a confession to make: When we are feeling a bit low we get in the car, roll down all the windows, crank the iPod over to a special playlist and sing loudly to it without caring what anyone thinks. The playlist is labeled "Shame," although we refuse to feel shame, really, over any song on the list; rather, we feel the need to recognize that, yes, we know the difference between these songs and the rest of our song library, with its Shins and Death Cab For Cutie all dripping with indie cred. No, the "Shame" playlist features songs that are not considered cool by our hipster friends, songs by Kelly Clarkson and Barry Manilow.

Aqua is my hands down favorite road trip CD, and I can sing along with every song on this list. Love it!
