Rachel Weisz, star of The Mummy franchise and The Constant Gardener, faced the Venice Film Festival red carpet in September only a few months after giving birth to baby Henry. "Luckily the empire line was in fashion. My breasts were still pretty huge and the dress just flowed, bypassing most of my body. So it was a great moment for me--I coincided with fashion in a good way."

Of course, an empire waist isn't the only answer. Diane von Furstenberg made a fashion career off of the wrap dress for a reason...it looks sensational on almost every body type, including those with curves.

But recognizing a fashion moment and owning it isn't the only reason we love Rachel. This week, she made headlines by urging women to forsake their quest to become rail thin and embrace their bodies at a comfortable weight. "If you diet away your curves, you are dieting away your femininity. I enjoy dressing up, but you can do that without flagellating your body." Which brings up a good point. What is it about a woman that makes them a woman? It certainly isn't just about our naughty bits, is it? When we think about classic symbols of fertility, they look less like Posh and more like Kate Dillon. Even the classic Greek sculpture of Aphrodite has some junk in the trunk.

And who can argue with a woman who pulls off the Goddess look so well:
